The registration period for Winter 2017-2018 SJB Basketball (3rd - 8th grade), participating in the West County CYC District, begins on September 6th and ends on October 13th.  After this date, a $25 late fee will apply and player registrations will be accepted if space allows.  Players registering at SJB must either reside within the SJB parish boundaries, attend PSR at SJB, or be a registered member of the parish.

The registration period for Winter 2017-2018 SJB Basketball Training (K - 2nd) begins on September 5th and ends on December 20th.  This will be an 8 week, 1 hour long training session held on Saturday mornings starting in January. 

Due to the West County CYC team declaration deadline, SJB must declare the number of teams it is going to sponsor in October.  Players registering after October 13th will be placed on a waiting list and placed on a team if space is available.  They are not guaranteed a spot on a team, regardless of whether they are parishioners or were on the team the previous season.

St. John Bosco Athletic Association is commited to the youth in our parish and community. Our focus is to create a safe and healthy Christian environment in which our youth can develop friendships, leadership, physical fitness and self-esteem by competing in athletic events. St. John Bosco Athletic Association will promote learning basic skills of youth sports, sportsmanship and commitment to purpose. In addition, our goal is to create an environment for the families of the parish and our neighbors to meet, interact and develop friendships that unify and strengthen our parish and community.

SJBAA provides the following sports:

• West County CYC Soccer (K through 8th grade)
• West County CYC Basketball (K through 8th grade)
• West County CYC Baseball/Softball (Pre-K through 8th grade)

Registration fees are:

• $50 Basketball Training League (K through 2nd)
• $120 Basketball (Grades 3 through 8)
• $15 Discount for each additional sibling
• A separate $25 uniform deposit check will be needed for each player, when uniforms are issued.

Where Do My Registration Fees Go?   Registration fees are used for expenses such as referees and umpires, sports equipment, field and gym maintenance, CYC league fees, registration website, tournament fees, trophies, uniforms, team parties and other administrative expenses.
